When the van was sold to us it was still fitted with a cassette player (!), and assuming this was the original stereo – the one listed as an extra in the 1987 HYMER catalogue – it would have cost the original owner a staggering €300. Within a couple of weeks we’d switched this out for a CD/MP3 player.
The original stereo was humanely destroyed.
