We spent the whole day relaxing. We swam in the Black Sea (too warm!), we watched Romanians swimming in their bathing suits, topless or completely naked, we walked around the village, had a nice meal, talked to our camper van neighbour Boris from France and generally felt great. The temperature finally dropped and we weren’t sweating constantly any more.
We went to the beach the previous night and joined the free concert at Vama Veche’s “Folk You” Festival. All of the singers were very famous in the eighties and they fought the regime with their songs about revolution and peace. Even though people around us were carried away, singing along every song, we only found it interesting for the first ten minutes. After that, we enjoyed our semi-cold beers and watched people enjoy themselves. What a great evening and what a relaxing day.
